Alliance Bank (Manchester)
Alliance Bank (1839-1842), established in Manchester, was a past constituent of NatWest. It should not be confused with Alliance Bank Ltd of London and Liverpool (1862-1892).
This joint stock bank was formed in 1839 out of the failed business of Northern & Central Bank of England of Manchester. In 1842 it was acquired by Bank of Manchester.
