[main heading] Building Scotland’s future – Commercial Real Estate and Housing Conference

[subhead] Expert speaker insights to inform commercial and residential property priorities in a defining election year

We’re delighted to invite you to our 2026 Scottish Commercial Real Estate and Housing Conference, hosted by Ian Sillars, Head of Real Estate & Housing Finance Scotland. Together we’ll debate the challenges and future opportunities shaping these sectors ahead of the 2026 Scottish Parliament elections.

In a landscape of shifting economic and policy headwinds, our expert speakers will provide their opinions and views of what may lie ahead in 2026. Their perspectives will help inform the strategies needed to secure growth, resilience and improved outcomes for Scottish investors and developers engaged in the commercial real estate and housing sectors.

We’ll also host a customer panel to discuss and debate the current housing emergency in Scotland, the Housing Bill and the Housing Investment Taskforce recommendations.

What to expect on the day

Market insights from our own experts and guests:

The customer panel session will feature Sam Bett, Group Treasurer, Wheatley Group; Graham Barnet, CEO, Sigma Capital; and Danny O'Neill, CEO, Ediston, who will explore how we can influence housing policy and increase housing supply.

There will also be innovative approaches to digital transformation and sustainable development in our interactive reception area.
