Dr Clea Harmer, Chief Executive, Sands, said: “We are delighted that this year, we are joined in partnership with NatWest Group to support Baby Loss Awareness Week 2020. The week aims to raise awareness about pregnancy loss and baby death. With our partners, we unite bereaved parents, their families and friends with each other to commemorate the lives of their precious babies. It is only with our supporters that we can continue to call for change, to improve care and support for all those affected and vitally, to help save more babies’ lives. Thank you NatWest Group for your commitment to breaking the silence and stigma of pregnancy and baby death.”

Malcolm Buchannan, MD Corporate & Commercial Banking Scotland and Chairman Scotland Board, NatWest Group, said:“Baby Loss Awareness Week is an important opportunity to raise awareness of the impact of pregnancy and baby loss, and to reflect on how we can all do more to support those affected. Royal Bank of Scotland has employees and customers who have been affected and we hope our support of this year’s Baby Loss Awareness Week can help play a part, however small, in addressing the issues they face.”
