The branch will be one of four NatWest branches across the UK to open seven days a week to serve customers when it is convenient for them.
The brand new branch will provide a range of banking facilities using new technology, including a Cash & Deposit machine where customers can pay in notes, cheques and coins quickly. For business customers, there is also an automated deposit machine, meaning business customers no longer have to queue to pay in coinage.
Commenting on the launch of the new branch LCEO Darren James said:
“Our branches are at the heart of the service we give to our customers, so I’m delighted that we have invested in the local area by opening this new branch in such a great location in Milton Keynes. Feedback so far from customers has been overwhelmingly positive and they are particularly pleased that they don’t need to leave the centre to do their banking and can pop in whenever they want, seven days a week.”
The staff at NatWest Milton Keynes were joined by customers, local charity Willen Hospice and Ben Reeves of English Championship football team MK Dons to cut the ribbon and open the new branch on Friday, 26 February.
