In this new role, Mr. Quraishi joins the firm's Client Solutions team which covers a broad array of asset classes across RBS' multi-faceted Markets business to provide clients with tailored solutions to help them achieve their financial objectives. He will be based in Stamford, CT and report to Miles Hunt and Joe Carney, Co-Heads of Client Structuring and Solutions, Americas.
Mr. Quraishi will be focused on developing and delivering financial solutions for RBS' North American banking clients. His appointment is an integral component of the firm's continued initiatives to strategically enhance and expand the Client Structuring and Solutions franchise in the Americas. He joins the bank from NewOak Capital where he was Vice Chairman and Co-Head of Capital Markets. Prior to that, he was with UBS where he served as Global Head of their Asset-Backed Finance business, and subsequently joint-head of their Real-Estate Distressed Workout Group.

Mr. Quraishi is a graduate of the George Washington University where he holds an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration as well as a Master's degree in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California.
