Working in partnership with mental health charities, external thought leaders, and other organisations, RBS will host its third Mental Health Awareness conference on 16 May during Mental Health Awareness Week.

The event, which will take place at RBS’ headquarters in Edinburgh with a video connection to London, aims to raise awareness of the different ways mental health can impact society and promote open discussions about mental health in the workplace and beyond.

Attendees will come away equipped with resources, knowledge and practical ideas that they can take back and implement in their own workplaces and personal lives. There will also be opportunities to network with other attendees from a range of different backgrounds, sectors and organisations.

Aileen Taylor, Chief Governance Officer & Board Counsel and executive sponsor for wellbeing at RBS, said:“We care about the mental health and wellbeing of our colleagues, customers and communities. We believe that everyone has mental health, just as everyone has physical health.

“Whilst we have focused on building a culture of wellbeing for our colleagues, we want to extend this to our customers and are delighted that our third Mental Health Awareness conference is focused on improving our customer experience. The conference aims to provide our customers and communities with educational information and resources that they can use to improve the mental health and wellbeing in their businesses and personal lives.”
