NatWest launches business advice bus in the North West

NatWest is taking to the road with the launch of an 'Ambitions Bus' to bring free business advice direct to entrepreneurs looking to start their own company and existing SME business owners.

The bus starts its UK tour in the North West on Friday 16th September at the Celebrate Cheshire Event at Chester Racecourse. It will visit 16 other locations during the next two months including both Liverpool and Manchester.

NatWest customers and non-customers can benefit from a range of free business advice onboard the bus. Relationship Managers will be available to offer a business review to SME owners. Entrepreneurs looking to start their own business can also receive feedback on their plans from NatWest start-up advisers.

Staff from SMARTA, the independent support network for start ups and small business owners, will also be onboard to demonstrate their services, including the online business builder tool.

In addition to the Chester event, the other North West dates for the bus are Manchester on October 12th (location to be confirmed) and the Business & Technology Show in Liverpool on October 18th.

Mark Winters, Managing Director for NatWest Business Banking in the North, said: "Small businesses and entrepreneurs form the backbone of the North West's economy. We're committed to making it easier for them to do business particularly in the current climate. We would encourage business owners or those people thinking of starting up for the first time to come and talk to us to see what kind of help and support is available."
