The Corporate Engagement Awards recognise and celebrate the best corporate partnerships and Corporate Social Responsibility programmes, with a focus on how companies involve their employees.
At a recent awards ceremony in London, RBS collected a number of awards for its work in this area. Among these awards were:
A silver award in the ‘most effective long-term charity programme’ category for the bank’s 40-year partnership with The Prince’s Trust.
A silver award for our partnership with The Prince’s Trust’s Enterprise programme in the ‘best charity programme’ category. The Enterprise programme helps disadvantaged young people forge new skills and start their own business.
The relationship between RBS and Sport Relief was Highly Commended in the ‘best collaboration for a single event’ category.
NatWest and London’s Southbank Centre, with support from M&C Saatchi, won a bronze ‘best arts and culture programme’ award for their work to create a Family Fun Zone for the Southbank’s winter season.
The bank’s Skills & Opportunities Fund won a bronze award in the ‘best execution’ category. The Fund supports projects run by charities, social enterprises and community groups to help people develop the skills they need to get into work or start a business.
