We’re proud to feature in The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality list for the 19th year running. The list comprises of UK companies that champion equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of gender.

The organisations who make the list are included equally - there’s no ranking. It shows their commitment to gender equality as companies always looking for ways to improve, with policies that support a balanced work environment and a strong culture.

With this in mind, the assessment process looks at three areas: a company's overall plan for progress, policies that address specific challenges (like flexible work options), and how well their culture supports their goals.


The journey to gender equality doesn’t stop here

The Times Top 50 not only celebrates progress but also reminds us of the need to keep going.  There’s more to do to address the professional and socio-economic challenges that still affect women.


What are we doing to make a difference?

  • We’re committed to improving our gender balance, with a focus on the recruitment, retention and advancement of women. Our global target is to have full gender balance in our CEO-3 and above global roles by 2030. Find out more about our focus on gender.
  • We’re helping women develop via a number of internal development programmes, which include coaching, mentoring and focused learning.
  • Our Partner Leave policy helps colleagues to support their partners who have given birth, or who have had a child born through surrogacy or had a child placed through adoption. This helps families to balance home and working life responsibilities more fairly, regardless of gender.
  • Our support for colleagues around the Menopause includes our partnership with Peppy Health to provide a digital product providing all colleagues and their partners with online support on the menopause.
