NatWest Group appoints Group Chief Risk Officer

Abib is currently Chief Risk Officer for NatWest Markets, having joined the bank in April last year from M&G Investments where he was the CRO responsible for investment risk across public and private markets.

Previously, he was the CRO for the non-ring-fenced bank at Barclays and he has also held senior roles at Credit Suisse and JP Morgan across Europe the US and Asia. 

He will take up the new role on 1 July.
